Each day, SuperSens digitalizes many hours of old film material and transfers it to DVD. 16mm Films start from 1922.
In the thirties of the previous century the use of 8mm film by amateurs became 'en vogue'.
In most cases, the quality of the film is still excellent: sharpness and fine details are not touched by the passage of time.
Provided these films are properly stored in dark and low-temperature surroundings, film will not expire for hundred years or more!
As the matter of fact, did you know that the 8mm film of your grandparents' wedding has remained of sublime quality,
whereas the video recording of your friends' wedding only seven years ago is already deteriorating, soon to be lost forever!
